World of Beer is an accurate moniker for the bar and bottle shop on East Joppa Road. Its beer list includes dozens and dozens of brews from all across the globe. Some are brewed not far from Towson, whereas others are from as far away as Guatemala, the Czech Republic, and Japan.

Grab a seat at the bar and enjoy one of the beers from the tap or an imported bottle. Although the selection changes regularly, you can always grab staples like Austin Eastciders Pineapple and Firestone Walker Pivo Pils. Both of these drafts are $4 during happy hour, which runs from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 p.m. to close Sunday through Thursday. Pair your chosen pour with a bite like beef barbacoa street tacos, mac and cheese bites, or Tuscan hummus. You can also hang out for dinner and order a full meal, then stick around for Team Trivia or another weekly event.
